Transurban boss Michelle Jablko says the toll road group is considering opportunities in New Zealand after legal costs ate into interim profits, pushing the company into a $15 million net loss.
The New Zealand government had a big focus on building infrastructure, including roads, as well as a road-user charging program, Jablko told The Australian Financial Review.
“It’s obvious someone like us would have a look at that,” she said. “If we can put in place the right partners, right structures, it’s something we would consider.”
