Santos investors are questioning why issues raised by former chief financial officer Sherry Duhe over chief executive Kevin Gallagher’s leadership style and the oil and gas producer’s corporate culture were not looked into before she was dismissed by chairman Keith Spence.
The circumstances around the sudden departure of Duhe last week have raised concerns around corporate governance at the country’s second-biggest oil and gas company, and around the oversight exercised by Spence.
