Australian shares are set to open higher, bolstered by a broad rebound on Wall Street. Communication services and information technology paced nine of the S&P 500’s 11 industry groups higher. A 7 per cent leap in Tesla and a 6 per cent gain in Alphabet paced the megacap tech stocks. The NYSE Fang + Index, which tracks the megacap techs, was 3.2 per cent higher.
