Commonwealth Bank chief executive Matt Comyn says his three biggest rivals appear to be trying to replicate the lending giant’s strategies and creating intense competition for a slice of the mortgage market.
Comyn unveiled a $2.6 billion cash profit at the country’s largest lender for the first three months of its financial year, higher than the same period 12 months ago but lower than what the market had expected.
