Abercrombie & Fitch — The apparel retailer jumped 33% after posting better-than-expected fiscal third-quarter results, driven by strength at its Hollister brand. Hollister’s sales grew 16%, offsetting a 2% drop at its namesake Abercrombie & Fitch label. For the holiday quarter, the company expects Hollister to continue to drive sales growth.
Nvidia — Nvidia shares were down 4% after The Information reported, citing sources, that Meta Platforms was considering spending billions of dollars on Alphabet’s AI chips. Alphabet shares rose to a fresh 52-week high on the back of the report, but were recently up less than 1%.
