Regal’s private fund is investing in water – and making strong returns

Water has become one of Regal Partners’ largest allocations in its multi-strategy fund that along with a surge in small caps has helped the high-profile money manager post 20 per cent returns a year since its launch just two years ago.

Regal, co-founded by Phil King, told clients in an update of the fund this week that multi-strategy funds, which are designed to make money regardless of market conditions, would come to fore this year given the heightened geopolitical risk emanating from the White House.
