Transurban eyes US toll road expansion; Australia growth options slim

Transurban hopes to develop toll roads in more US states if the company succeeds with two new bids, chief executive Michelle Jablko said, as it looks to expand its growth options after reporting a 52 per cent drop in annual profit.

Investors want Transurban to show where it can grow given a lack of opportunities in Australia, partially due to the NSW government’s decision to stop privatising roads.
