War sends investors fleeing from Wall Street onto the ASX

As the war in the Middle East rages into a third week, investors are yanking money from Wall Street and selling out of US exchange-traded funds as they look to Australia, Europe and Asia for returns.

Analysis from UBS strategist Gerry Fowler showed US-focused ETFs had “almost no net inflows” in the first week of the war compared with the rest of the world where flows remained robust.
