Australian shares are poised to open higher, tracking a rally on Wall Street driven by Nvidia and metals stocks.
Futures were 0.3 per cent or 29 points higher on Tuesday morning, indicating the S&P/ASX 200 is set to reverse the previous session’s loss amid US President Donald Trump’s plan to announce 25 per cent tariffs on all steel and aluminium imports.
Gold reset its record high, trading at $US2901.17 at 8.02am AEDT.
