AI dreams blind investors to the nightmare of a politicised Fed

It has largely paid for investors to ignore President Donald Trump and his public policy moves in the United States and beyond. Although noisy, Trump’s bark is worse than his bite. His tariffs, for example, were far less damaging than first thought.

His intervention in Venezuela, the potential to get involved in Iran and threats to take Greenland – all big geopolitical events – have barely moved markets.
