ASX to rise, techs rebound

Australian shares are set to edge higher at Tuesday’s open, tracking positive sentiment from Wall Street, where tech stocks rebounded in the final stretch of what’s set to be the best quarter for equities in six years.

S&P/ASX 200 futures were up 3 points or 0.03 per cent to 8825. The S&P 500 rallied 1.2 per cent in New York, paced by gains in communication services and consumer discretionary. The Nasdaq Composite gained 2.1 per cent.
