Australian investors are piling into American technology giants at a furious pace as they scramble for exposure to an artificial intelligence trade that has sent Wall Street to records despite warnings from major fund managers that the market has gone into overdrive and is primed for a slump.
More than $1.5 billion has been placed into ASX-listed funds tracking indices in the United States this year, with $230 million in May alone, putting this month on track to break the record for inflows.
