Mining and gaming to lead next wave of foreign ASX debuts

Australia is becoming an unlikely haven for foreign companies looking to raise money from the sharemarket, attracted by the massive pools of retirement savings that often helps lure more listings to the ASX than London and New York.

Data from the ASX shows a sharp rise in activity last year, with 16 international listings that include both dual listing and initial public offerings – a fourfold increase from 2024.
