Optus follows Telstra in raising mobile prices drawing ACCC concern

Optus has followed Telstra in raising the prices of its mobile plans for the second time within 12 months, far exceeding inflation and drawing concern from the competition watchdog over its impact on customers.

The Singtel-owned telco started telling customers on Wednesday that their plans would increase by $5 a month from May 18, but would come with extra data.
