Platinum client pulls $580m ahead of L1 merger

ASX-listed fund manager Platinum Asset Management has reported that a large client will pull $580 million from its managed funds, just weeks before it is due to merge with L1 Capital.

The redemption, which is due to take place in October, equates to about 7.5 per cent of Platinum’s nearly $8 billion of funds under management.
