Me&u, a mobile ordering start-up used in pubs and cafes around the country, says it has the funds to start investing in its first consumer app after booking figures showing a path to a maiden profit, following a period of significant losses and redundancies.
Chief executive Kim Teo, who co-founded Mr Yum and led its merger with rival QR code ordering start-up me&u in 2023, said the combined company had been profitable on a monthly basis since last July and recorded earnings of $1 million in December and January.
