Australia’s telco regulator has demanded to see the entire dataset, questions, panel details and responses behind an explosive consumer survey that found one in 10 Australians has been unable to connect to Triple Zero over the past year, a finding that triggered a furious response from industry giant Telstra.
A consumer group called the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) kicked off a firestorm after releasing a survey on March 11 that it said found almost half of Australians were concerned they won’t be able to reach Triple Zero if needed.
